PowerLog is a strategic project based on the development of an international logistics optimization platform. Its objective is to revolutionize not only the maritime logistics industry, improving the efficiency of processes and reducing costs for companies that carry out international shipments, but also logistics in general, integrating into a single platform a route optimization system that includes logistics. . maritime and terrestrial.
The platform will use Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms and quantum computing to analyze and optimize shipping routes, container loading, and transportation scheduling. In addition, the platform will be able to predict possible delivery delays and offer solutions to avoid them.
With this technology, companies will be able to save time and resources in the planning and execution of international shipments, which will result in increased efficiency and improved customer satisfaction. The platform will also benefit the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions associated with inefficient transportation.
The project consortium is coordinated by DIHGIGAL and is made up of the Clúster Alimentario de Galicia (Clusaga), a large company in the fishing sector, Grupo Nueva Pescanova; a technological SME, Visual Trans; a technology center, ITG; and a startup, Cuatro Digital. Powerlog receives funding from the 2023 call of the technology support program Agrupaciones Empresariales Innovadoras (AEI) of Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Turismo.
